Deadword Theatre Co. is a collection of artists, hard workers, and friends based in the Boston area. Our mission is producing ambitious, boundary-pushing theatre while uplifting local creatives in the process.

We are strong believers in creating our own opportunities, not only in theatre but in artistic pursuits of all kinds. From theatrical classics to new works from local playwrights, our productions aim to promote collaboration between local artists. 

Our team is very eclectic, consisting of actors, designers, filmmakers, bartenders, DJ’s, 9-to-5-ers, and more, all with the goal of making something great together. We can’t wait for you to see what we do next!
